Shipping Policy for Solstice Savory Pies
To ensure the freshness and quality of our delicacies, our shipping practices adhere strictly to our Shipping Policy.
- Kindly note, due to the perishable nature of our products, we cannot ship to PO Box addresses. We appreciate your understanding and won't be liable for orders placed with a PO Box as the delivery address.
Shipping & Packaging Information
- Complimentary Shipping with a subscription and one time order: First shipping order is free for orders of 12 or more. We are pleased to offer 1, 2 and 3 day UPS ground shipping and eco-thermal packing and dry ice and gel packs for all our orders in those zones. Fedex overnight delivery is not applicable for free shipping and prices vary depending on delivery location. We will give you our discounted rate if you are not in the 1, 2 or 3 day shipment zones. When you go to check out you can see the cost for your shipping area.
- Shipping cost for UPS ground shipments for 12 or more pies just $7
- Shipping cost for UPS ground shipments for 10 pies just $12
- Shipping cost for UPS ground shipments for 8 pies just $18
- Discounted Shipping for Orders of 6 pies: Enjoy a special flat-rate UPS ground shipping fee of $25. If you are outside the UPS ground shipping zone, FedEx overnight shipping will be added to your total at checkout.
- All our eco-shipping containers are made of Biodegradable materials and can be recycled. If your shipping area is outside of the UPS 1, 2 or 3 day shipping zones, you will need to pay extra for FedEx overnight shipping. Our shipping facility is based in Wheeling Illinois.
- Expedited shipping fees may be incurred for quicker delivery. Shipping charges vary depending on how many pies are being shipped, the distance the package is traveling, and the speed of delivery required for the product. This information can be found at checkout for a specific item, after you enter your shipping address.
- Large shipments for special occasions can be arraigned by contacting us directly.
- Delivery Restrictions: Kindly note that we cannot deliver to PO Box addresses. Orders directed to such addresses will not be fulfilled and we bear no responsibility for any inconveniences caused.
Shipping Timeline & Guidelines
- We process and dispatch orders every Monday and Tuesday to ensure timely deliveries within the week.
- To maintain the quality of your items, we avoid weekend transit. As such, any orders placed after Tuesday by 10am will be dispatched the following week.
- For urgent deliveries, we offer FedEx Overnight services. Please note, shipping rates may differ based on your location or delivery address. With FedEx overnight we can ship out Wednesdays.
Shipping Delays Due to External Factors
Should we anticipate potential disruptions—whether due to severe weather conditions like snowstorms, hurricanes, road blockages, or public holidays—that might affect the timely delivery of your order, we reserve the right to hold your shipment. Rest assured, we'll aim to dispatch your order at the earliest possible opportunity once conditions normalize
Shipping Information
Destinations We Serve
- We proudly deliver to all locations within the contiguous 48 U.S. states.
- For our Hawaii and Alaska customers: We do provide shipping to Hawaii and Alaska, but it will be FedEx overnight or two day air, but it is cost prohibitive and the consumer will cover all costs.
Exclusions
- Currently, we don’t offer shipping to APO/FPO addresses, or international locations.
- Please note: We do not deliver to PO Box addresses. Orders directed to a PO Box will not be our responsibility. Ensure your shipping address is valid prior to confirming your order.
Receiving Your Shipment
Upon Arrival of Your Shipment:
- A signature is not mandated during delivery; your package will be handed over without one.
- Given the perishable nature of our products, we recommend that someone is present to accept the delivery if at all possible.
- Avoid direct contact with any residual dry ice in the package.
- Ensure that the contents of your shipment feel frozen to the touch upon receipt.
- Disposing of Dry Ice: Dry ice can be left outside on the sidewalk, and will usually dissipate quickly if exposed to the sun. Dry Ice can also be left in a sink or container if it's left in its plastic or paper wrappings to avoid damaging any surfaces.
- For optimum freshness, promptly transfer all items to your freezer. To repurpose gel packs, store them in the same manner.

- Your happiness with your order is our top priority. We are dedicated to ensuring you are fully pleased with your purchase.
- We pledge that your products will be delivered to your doorstep in a chilled state, clearly cold upon touch.
- Should you receive our pies that aren't sufficiently frozen or have completely thawed, inform us within 24 hours of your delivery, accompanied by relevant photos. We'll either refund you or reship your order, as per your preference.
Addressing Shipping Concerns
Should your order arrive with damaged items, incorrect products, or any other shipment-related issues, please reach out to us. We're committed to resolving any concerns and ensuring you're satisfied with your purchase.
Shipping Responsibility Guidelines
While we strive to ensure your order reaches you in pristine condition and on time, there are instances beyond our control:
- We cannot be held liable for delays in delivery due to high package traffic, weather conditions, mechanical errors, strikes, acts of nature, safety measures related to terrorism, or errors from local carriers.
- We are not accountable for inaccuracies in information supplied by customers, especially if shipping details are incomplete or incorrect.
- It is the customer's duty to provide precise order details, including billing and shipping addresses. Upon receiving your order, it's crucial to promptly put pies in your freezer until you cook them( DO NOT DEFROST)

To modify an order:

- 3. Our team is dedicated to supporting you, whether it's making essential changes, processing a reimbursement, or pausing your shipment to a more convenient time.
- 4. Kindly note: Alterations or cancellations aren't possible if the order is already en route.
