We only ship orders in accordance with our Shipping Policy due to the perishable nature of our products.

Shipping Schedule for Ground and Local Deliveries

 Ground 1-3 day shipping:

We ship orders every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday each week. The specific day of shipment is determined by the transit time required to reach your location. Please note that orders placed after 7 am PST on Wednesday will be scheduled for shipment the following week. This ensures that your pies, carefully packed with dry ice, arrive in optimal condition. You will receive an email and tracking number very soon after you order.

Local Deliveries- Greater Sacramento Area:

For our local customers, we offer hand-delivered service on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.. It’s important to note that we do not schedule shipments or deliveries from Saturday through Monday. If your order is placed after 3 pm on Wednesday, the delivery of your pies will be arranged for the following week, depending on your location and our delivery routes. You can expect to receive an email notification one day prior to your delivery, informing you that your pies will be delivered the next day.

 


Adverse Weather, Delays, Public Holidays etc

If we are aware of impending weather conditions such as heavy snow, hurricanes, storms, road closures etc, and/or public holidays that have the potential to impede/delay shipment or delivery of your order, we may choose, at our discretion, to hold your order and ship at the next available opportunity. 

Where We Ship

We ship to CA, NV, OR, WA, AZ, ID and UT

We DO NOT ship to other states at this time, due to the nature of our frozen pies and transit times. Please email us at info@solsticesavorypies.com if you would like a shipment to any other states and we can give you a quote for overnight or two day air.

 

Receiving Your Package

When you receive your package:

  • Your signature is not required at the time of delivery and your package will be delivered without a signature.
  • Our products are highly perishable, and we strongly recommend you are on hand to receive your goods, or soon after.
  • When your shipment arrives, check that your products are chilled (ie. noticeably cold to the touch)
  • Do not touch with your bare hands or skin any dry ice that may remain in your package( dispose of dry ice outside or let thaw in your sink with plastic bag in tact.)
  • Once thawed please throw away the dry ice bag in your garbage if there is one.
  • All products should be placed immediately in either your freezer (as should the gel packs if you get any in your package, if you may want to reuse them).

We have a 100% satisfaction guarantee:

  • We genuinely care about your opinion and want you to be totally satisfied with your order
  • We guarantee that your products will arrive at your door chilled - ie. noticeably cold to the touch.
  • If you receive any pies that are not chilled, or have thawed in their entirety, please let us know within 24 hours of receipt of delivery, along with supporting photos, and we will possibly provide a refund and/or reship your order if need be.
  • We cannot exchange or reimburse you for a pie you did not like, only if the product is damaged in shipping.

Similarly, if any products are found damaged upon arrival, the wrong item was shipped, or some other issue occurred with your shipment, please contact us in the "contact us" area of our website, and we will work with you to correct it.

Limitations of Liability

We are not responsible for delays in transit caused by high package volume, weather, mechanical error, strikes, natural disasters, terrorism safety control or local carrier miss-scans.

We are not responsible for information provided by customers, particularly inaccurate or incomplete shipping information. 

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all order information is accurate and complete, particularly billing and shipping addresses, and for making sure that all packages are received in a timely manner, with all products immediately refrigerated or frozen upon arrival.
