Shipping & Local Delivery in the Greater Sacramento area.
At Solstice Savory Pies, we ship all orders in accordance with our shipping policy due to the perishable nature of our products. Each pie is carefully packed to ensure it arrives frozen and ready to enjoy.
Please note: We do not ship to PO Box addresses and are not responsible for orders placed to them.
Where We Ship
We currently offer:
Nationwide Shipping (FedEx 2-Day Air)
- Available across the U.S., including Alaska & Hawaii
- Flat rate: $50
- Orders $110+ ship for $39
Western States Ground Shipping (GLS)
Available in:
California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Idaho, and Utah
- Discounted rates: $0–$23, depending on order size
- Ships via ground service to maintain frozen quality
Shipping Schedule
- Orders ship every Wednesday
- Order by Wednesday at 8:00 AM to ship the same day
- Orders placed after will ship the following Wednesday
We do not ship on weekends to ensure your pies arrive in optimal condition.
Packaging & Quality
Your pies are packed with care using:
- Dry ice and/or ice packs
- Insulated, eco-friendly packaging made from recyclable paper
You will receive a tracking email prior to shipment, so you can plan accordingly.
Local Delivery (Greater Sacramento Area)
We offer local delivery for customers in:
- Saturday: Placer & Sacramento Counties
- Sunday: Placer, Sacramento & El Dorado Counties
Order by Friday for weekend delivery.
Pies are delivered frozen. If you won’t be home, we recommend leaving a cooler with ice packs at your door.
You’ll receive:
- A confirmation email prior to delivery asking for any gate codes along with timing and important information
- A text notification when your order has been dropped off/ with photo attached
Weather & Shipping Delays
To protect product quality, we may delay shipments due to:
- Severe weather
- Holidays
- Carrier disruptions
If this happens, your order will ship at the next safe opportunity.
Receiving Your Order
When your package arrives:
- Open immediately
- Ensure pies are cold to the touch
- Place in freezer right away
Dry Ice Safety
- Do not touch dry ice with bare hands
- Allow it to dissipate safely (sink or outdoors)
Our Freshness Guarantee
We stand behind our product:
- Your pies will arrive cold and properly packed
- If your order arrives thawed or compromised:
- Contact us within 24 hours
- Include photos
- We will make it right (refund or replacement as appropriate)

We cannot offer refunds based on personal taste preferences.

Order Changes & Cancellations
Due to the nature of our shipping process, orders cannot be changed or canceled once placed. Please check your address, email address and phone number to make sure they are correct. If you are getting a local delivery, be sure to give us your cell phone so we can text you.
